If you haven\u2019t read, these definitions will be beneficial.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A simple definition of Blockchain<\/h2>\n\n<p>A distributed and decentralized Digital Ledger technology that allows transparent and secure record-keeping of transactions across multiple computers.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decentralization in Blockchain<\/h2>\n\n<p>Blockchain operates on a peer-to-peer network. No central Authority controls or manages the execution of any type of transaction.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transparency<\/h2>\n\n<p>All entities in a blockchain transaction can view the history of all transactions. Hence, satisfies \u201cTrust in Integrity\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Security<\/h2>\n\n<p>Cryptography! Cryptography!! Cryptography!!!<\/p>\n\n<p>Secondly, the process of consensus i.e. the transaction that happened or is to happen is validated and verified by every node on the network.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smart Contracts<\/h2>\n\n<p>These are the agreements on which a transaction takes place. Being \u201cSmart\u201d means they are self-executable with \u201cRules of Trade\u201d (Rules or Terms for the contract) on which the agreement is going to happen. They have predefined conditions and rules which should be met for a contract.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>In short, these contracts do not need intermediary authorities to enforce and validate the terms.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Immutability<\/h2>\n\n<p>Once the transaction is executed, it can never be modified or deleted. Each transaction block contains a \u201chash\u201d (data integrity check) of the previous block, creating a chain that cannot be tampered with.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>Blockchain technology has a wide range of applications across multiple industries, including finance, healthcare, supply chain management, and more.
